A 28-year-old Missouri woman was arrested after allegedly stabbing another woman and disappearing before deputies could arrive at the scene, authorities said.

Allison Bell, 28, of Dixon, was taken into custody on Friday following a multi-agency search, according to law enforcement.
On Sept. 1, Maries County deputies were dispatched to a home around 1:55 p.m. to respond to a report of a stabbing, according to officials.
When deputies arrived at the residence, they discovered a woman suffering from heavy bleeding and a serious cut to her upper arm, police said.
The victim identified Bell as the person who allegedly stabbed her, deputies said. But the suspect was already gone before deputies could reach the property, according to officials.
Deputies searched the surrounding area immediately after arriving, police said. But authorities were unable to locate the Dixon woman, according to officials.

Authorities later obtained an arrest warrant charging Bell with first-degree assault, police said.
Several law enforcement agencies eventually joined the search for the suspect, according to police.
The multi-agency effort included the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, the Dixon Police Department and the Missouri Relentless Pursuit Task Force, authorities said.
Four days after the alleged stabbing, Dixon police and the task force found Bell and took her into custody without incident, officials said.
Bell was transported to the Maries County Jail, where she was booked on suspicion of first-degree assault, authorities said.
Bell is accused and not convicted of the charge, and the investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
